Your shipping charges are determined by the total weight of your purchase, service level, and distance from the point of origin (Zip code 56303 in St. Cloud MN). Products are not shipped on weekends.
Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois and Nebraska: Muggsy’s Beans, Inc. uses a locally-owned delivery business called SpeeDee Delivery. They are significantly lower in price than UPS or USPS and can get your package to you in less time. If you live in one of these states we strongly encourage you to choose SpeeDee as your delivery option. SpeeDee Delivery does not ship to Post Office Boxes.
Continental US: Muggsy’s Beans uses United Parcel Service (UPS) for shipping within the Continental United States (48 contiguous states). UPS does not ship to Post Office boxes.
Other Countries: Muggsy’s Beans does not sell or ship outside of the US. The shipping charges to countries outside of North America are prohibitive. Our apologies to those coffee lovers who would like to be our customers, but we are unable to economically and profitably serve that market. It is possible to ship to military APOs. Please contact us if you want to look into this option.
How to Save Money in Shipping Fees
Here’s the short answer: Make larger purchases. Now I’ll tell you why.
When you shop at Muggsy’s Beans, UPS servers calculate your shipping charges based on weight, distance, and the service level (Ground, 3 Day, 2nd Day, etc.). These fees represent our costs, shipping fees are not a profit center for us.
So making larger orders (placed less frequently, obviously) can save you big bucks. And this isn’t doesn’t just hold true at Muggsy’s Beans, but at any online retailer that charges UPS, FedEx, etc. rates based on weight, service level, and distance.
